So glad to have my site up!

I cancelled my hosting with Hostgator.com today after about 6 weeks of being unable to log into their portal. Obviously, my site is up and running on WordPress.com in less than one day.

This just goes to show you that your choice of vendors & providers is very important and oftentimes there is a personal element involved in the decision.

Many others are using Hostgator with no issues… but I could not reach the portal over my Xfinity ISP service at home. I have no problems reaching any other sites. Just that one. Out of frustration and being caught in the middle between Hostgator and Xfinity tech support, I cancelled with Hostgator and plan on living happily ever after.
