2020: Were you trying to give us tough love?
This is what we faced: Riots and curfews in 200 cities
This is what we faced: Cops were killing us.
This is what we faced: Cops were getting killed.
This is what we faced: We were too afraid to go outside because of the violence
This is what we faced: We lost our jobs, paychecks, our dignity
This is what we faced: We were too afraid to go outside because of this horrible pandemic
This is what we faced: Suicide, addiction, home invasions, alcoholism, and YoY mortality increase of 50%
We are 1 week into 2021! YAY, a new year, right?
Unfortunately the actual President of the United Freaking States incited a riot on the Capitol building which resulted in several deaths and many injuries.
President Trump has shown that he is unstable and despite HAVING BEEN IMPEACHED ALREADY he is still in office. He still has the nuclear launch codes. This is the guy who not only deliberately incited an attack ON OUR NATION’S CAPITOL but refused to call it off after it was underway.
Welcome 2021. Give us whatever you are going to give us. We brought half of our problems on ourselves last year. Hopefully we will show some wisdom this year.
